I have just upgraded S32 Design Studio from 3.4 to 3.5 and now none of my projects build.

All I get is the following error:

What am I missing?

Yes, and in the future, only the S32K1 RTD version will be updated and the SDK version will no longer be updated.

Hi Andy,

According to the currently available information, we don’t have any plan to integrate S32SDK S32K1XX 4.0.3 into S32DS 3.5 or above version. So please install S32SDK S32K1xx RTM 4.0.3 in S32 Design Studio 3.4.

Best Regards,
Robin

Robin,

Thanks for your reply.

So, are you saying that I cannot update S32 Design Studio beyond version 3.4?

I am using the FS32K144 device.

Yes. If you use S32K1 SDK RTM 4.0.x, please do not update S32DS v3.4 to v3.5. If you want to use S32K1 RTD 2.0.0 or higher, please install S32DS v3.5.

Thanks Robin,

So, going forward, if I want to keep my S32 Design Studio up to date with the latest version, I should be installing RTD instead of SDK ?
