Status of DSP56F807PY80E & DSP56F803BU80E : Regarding Availability

Dear Sir/ Madam,

We are using the 56F807 and 56F803 controllers in many of our existing products.

The status of these devices is shown as "Not Recommended For New Designs" on the Freescale Website.

Can I get an indication about for how many months these products will be available for purchase?

Are there any replacements available for these parts, though not pin-for-pin, but at least functionality-wise?

On the same page, in the table "Replacement Part" column, there is a link "Contact Us".
I believe it is the best way for you to get a definite answer.
The link is to create a Service Request. May be a whole documentation is available for a migration.
Unfortunately, I don't work with these product.
