Greetings,
I have been contracted to research quality microcontroller developement packages for Africa Nazarene University (ANU) outside of Nairobi, Kenya. I am familiar with more advanced (ie. expensive) systems like the Motorola HSC12 or Rabbit Powerboard developement boards, but the need here at ANU is for a more accessible and inexpensive system.
Are there any programs for promoting microcomputing in education through Freescale? If not, can you point me in the rigth direction for other companies? I have already looked into the various PIC models from Microchip, but I want to research thoroughly.
Regards
