I am trying to access the IEEE1588 registers on a P1022. I read 0 there and trying to write there using the procedure described in the P1022 reference manual does not help.
Reading the TSEC_ID2 (offset 0x000B_0004) reveals IEEE1588 timer is supported. It seems to be a eTSEC supporting device (and not a TSEC one).
I suspected first that the P1022 is running in PowerQUICC emulation mode, but how can you tell? Does anyone have an idea?

Please dump the eTSEC1 registers in U-Boot to exclude possible influence of the OS environment.
