PT2000 development board good choice for stand alone driver?

I'm looking for a stand alone controller for a 6 cyl. diesel. My current engine controller can supply a 0-5 volt signal for each cylinder's injector signal. The injectors need a 25 amp peak and a 15 amp hold. I already have FET's and shunts from a failed attempt to use a DRV110 chip. The PT2000 development board (PT2000 Evaluation Kit for 4/6 Cylinder|NXP ) looks like a good option for me but I'm not sure if getting the software configured correctly is going to be over complicating things for me and if it needs additional controllers. Thanks for any help, I'm primarily working on the engine and combustion side of things so I'm a little bit out of my area of expertise here. Thank you again!

I'm guessing I posted this in the wrong area, if someone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it!
