I have a KITVR5510DA0EVM, which is the VR5510 eval board. It utilizes the FRDM-K82F to faciliate communication between the PC running the NXP GUI and actually configuring the VR5510.
I followed the guide below (Section 5) to get the K82F updated.
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/UM11586.pdf
I was able to update the bootloader and application on the K82F, but I am having problems starting a session with the device through the NXP GUI. I can see the device is mounted through the file explorer on Windows 10, and right after I connect the device I do see the start session become "clickable", but then it immediately goes away and the light right next to J5 turns off on the K82F. This symptoms are repeatable by hot-plugging the USB cable. I have tried reflashing the K82F multiple times, no luck.
What should I try next?
Hello,
I hope all is great with you. Thank you for using the NXP communities.
Could you please share a short video of the procedure that you followed?
Regards,
David
