Don't work ethernet on P3041DS board

Hi all,

I have problem with P3041DS board. After reset I see next messages (from u-boot):

Fman1: Uploading microcode version 106.1.0

PHY reset timed out

PHY reset timed out

PHY reset timed out

PHY reset timed out

FM1@DTSEC1, FM1@DTSEC2, FM1@DTSEC3, FM1@DTSEC4, FM1@DTSEC5, FM1@TGEC1

And ethernet can't work.

What I can resolved this problem?

I have the exact same problem.  Did you solve your problem and how?

My P3041 is brand new, switches are set as in the documentation.

The Ethernet interfaces are not working on both U-boot and linux.

My u-boot version is 2011.12-00001

Do you use the RCW and fman-code binaries from SDK?

Yes I use the the RCW and fman-code binaries from the SDK.

The problem was the ethact value in u-boot.

It was set to the wrong DTSEC interface. I used FM1@DTSEC5 instead of FM@DTSEC1.

Did it work before? If yes, what did you change? If not, does this mean the board's PHYs failed out of the box?

Triple check all your DIP switches on the board, go back to the default board configuration and use an unmodified default Freescale SDK image in the flash. That is known to work.
