SJA1106(T)EL device ID

Hello

we 've startet a design with SJA1105EL.

We ordered some of this parts for our prototypes.

We received parts marked with "SJA1105"

If we read the DEVICE ID it delivers "0x9E00 030E". UM10944 says this is the ID for a SJA1105T(EL)

We expexted to get "0x9F00 030E" (UM10851 says this is the ID for a SJA1105 (without TSN features))

Can someone clearify our confusion about this?

Hello Ronny,

At sample stage, we give full access. This is matching to EVB, as also here SJA1105T is used.

This is just simpler to ship only one variant as a sample.

For final production, customers need to decide if SJA1105EL or SJA1105TEL will be used. Price is different for T(TSN).
