In the SC18IM704 data sheet pin description section there is a note that the GPIO6 pin should have a pullup:
What is the function of this pullup or is it a datasheet mistake and is this note meant for the reset pin?
Note that in the EVAL board schematics this pullup is not pressent.

The pull-up resistor on GPIO6 is recommended to ensure proper boot.
