QUADRATURE-COUNT Mode of S32R274

Dear NXP Tech Support,

I'm trying to count encoder pulses using the Quadrate-count mode of S32R274.

I want to allocate the phase A/B input signals to each different eTimer counter.

ex.) encoder count -> eTimer2 Ch4, encoder A phase -> eTimer1 Ch2, encode B phase -> eTimer2 Ch3

Is it possible?

If so, please tell me how to set fields of eTimer control register 1 PRISRC/SECSRC.

Thank you.

Hello,

Is it possible?

Yes, I see no issue in counting 2 signals with 2 different eTimers.

However I never tried it, so I will check the implementation and come back to you.

Best regards,

Peter

Hello,

Ok,after some discussion, this is not possible. As the quadrature count mode is always tied to eTimer module.

Usage cross modules is not possible.

Best regards,

Peter
