When PCA8565 work at 90~125℃,CPU can't read the true time from PCA8565.But the timer in the PCA8565 is working normally. When the temperature drops below 90℃,PCA8565 return to normal working condition.

        The circuit diagram as follow.

All chips and devices can work at 125 ℃.What factors will cause this error?

Hi Shuo,

First off, please accept our apologies for this delayed response.

A few questions to let us start looking into it:

1. Crystal CL?

2. Measure the 32.768kHz at the CLKOUT pin (need an external pull-up).

3. Values of Control registers?

Best regards,

Tomas

I took off all resistors and capacitors, leave only PAC8565 and crystal.

Like this:

Then the part of clock can work normally until 125℃.

  • SO can I use this circuit?I'm afraid it will have other error in the future.
