Dear NXP Community
My board design was done using the i.mx6q board.
The BSP I use is:
yocto version : 5.4.70
kernel version: 4.9.11 or 5.15.32
The configuration diagram of the current product is as follows:
There is a thermal camera and FPGA in front of the i.mx6q, and FPGA output is BT656 640x480@60Hz GRAY 8bit parallel data.
This data is connected to i.mx6q EIM IPU2_CSI1 port.
1. Is it possible for i.mx6q to receive BT656 640x480@60Hz GRAY 8bit data input and perform BT656 decoding?
2. The input is 640x480@60Hz. Is it possible to process 60fps?
Best Regards,
Kwon
Dear NXP TechSupport
Thank you for your answer.
1. Is it possible for i.mx6q to receive BT656 640x480@60Hz GRAY 8bit data input and perform BT656 decoding?
>yes, can support BT656 interlaced mode or progressive mode, more detailed settings, pls refer to the enclosed AN
2. The input is 640x480@60Hz. Is it possible to process 60fps?
>yes, refer to the reference manual, Two parallel camera ports (up to 20-bit, up to 240MHz peak each).
