Does anybody know if CW 6.0 will support OSBDM on the flexis product line?
The hardware seems to be compatible....

I'm not sure what it will support in the future with additional service packs.
Right now in the wizard I see the OSBDM offered for S08 QE's, but not for the V1.

I agree with Daniel.  It looks like it's just a matter of support from Freescale.

I've tested it with my OSBDM debugger made by Witztronics.

It works great with the 9S08QE, but there is no choice in the CW 6.0 menu to select OSBDM for the V1 device.

I tend to agree with that. After all, the chips are supposed to be 100% pin compatible, so it makes sense that it would work.

Also, if you read the brochure from P&E, now all of a sudden the multilink BDM supports coldfire v1 core, which I suppose means via HCS08 support.

Should I enter a service request to see what they say? I would kinda spoil the party for FSI if you can't use OSBDM with cf version.

Is there any open source flashing software for OSBDM? You (or I) could try flashing the part with that and see if it works.
