Hello,
I am trying to modify the pmsm closed loop model and run a 120v pmsm with a sine encoder which gives me absolute value of the rotor position. The motor is aligning and then going into forced mode and running fine but once it goes into tracking mode it stops spinning.
I want to know what happens during the alignment phase and why the offset is taken as either 90 or -90 degrees and the subsequent operation in the tracking mode and the transition from tracking mode to sensored mode.
my motor has 5 pole pairs
