but trying to do the same steps on my S32K144 EVB board I got the following error, compiling the project:

Hi Gianmarco, 

I think you are using an older version of the OOBE demo. My suggestion is to get the latest version from here: S32K144 Evaluation Board|NXP (both Firmware & Host PC parts)

Please check the readme.txt file to get the S32 Design Studio version which is needed to build the application: S32 Design Studio for ARM v2.0 (you can find it here: https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-335338 )
