Regarding DCF configuration setting of UTEST PMC Voltage Regulator Enable DCF client 'VREG ENB' if we are not using Internal regulators.

We have already taken this in Hardware (Pin strapping) through REGSEL and REGCTL pins and is using External supply mode not internal. In this case do we need to set the 'VREG_FLASH' , 'SMPS12' and 'VREG_1P2V_MAIN' bits ( bits 29 to 31)  to 1 (disable)? Or we can just ignore it and set to default '0' since it will be taken care assuming the Hardware can override the Software here.

The 'VREG_1P2V_MAIN' is the linear regulator and 'SMPS12' is the switching regulator. They can be turned off if the customer is supplying the device with their own 1.2V power supply.

Under normal conditions, the default configuration can be used. To be honest I haven't seen anyone to do it.

The only advantage it could bring would be a small saving in power consumption, which is not even characterized.
