Pop up dialog with "The target may have entered reset escalation..." when flashing by S32DS

I'm working with DEVKIT-MPC5748G board, and control target via JTAG Pemicro Multilink Universal .

I flash the target ,During that progress I accidently hit the reset button.

After then I can not flash any more.

It pops up dialog with "The target may have entered reset escalation, Please power cycle the board" when flashing by S32DS.

The attached file is the snap shoot .

I want to know how to recover it?

Hi, In mean time, is there any solution for this problem ? Any updates or its still impossible to recover the device ? Can NXP refund for this failure ?

Hello,

this problem is related to MPC5748G, MPC5746C and it's derivatives only.

We have already discus this thing with application and design team and unfortunately, there is no way, how to recover the device.

I got exact same error. I build .elf file, compiled using GHS compiler in custom eclipse based build environment. And then I am flashing .elf file on MPC5746C via JTAG Pemicro Multilink Universal using s32ds IDE.  I have received pop up  "The target may have entered reset escalation, Please power cycle the board" when flashing with S32DS.

Does anyone found solution ? Do you think my chip was bricked ? 

I have already updated PEmicro plugin in s32ds, but i am not able to fix it. What should I do to recover my device?

I have bad news for you. With almost 100% probability, your microcontroller is dead. Please check threads below.
