I am trying to interface with the ethernet port on the MPC5775E-EVB board. I'm seem to be unable to find any cables that can interface with it. Should I just buy a 100Base-T1 cable and chop one end off and just route the + and - to their respective ports?
Additionally, I am hoping to interface it with this board (DP83TC811EVM). Does anything know what cable interfaces with that? I am not too familiar with automotive ethernet and I cant seem to tell if thats a male or female port. I know 9-2304372-9 is the port (https://www.te.com/usa-en/product-9-2304372-9.html) but am not sure what it takes to interface with it (I think I found the other connector, but I imagine it needs some sort of pin/socket)?
I found cable for it here https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/accessories/products/automotive-ethernet-cable.html which just seems like an unshielded two wire cable.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Hi Ben,
you need something like this to connect the DP83TC811EVM:
https://store.intrepidcs.com/product-p/matenet-cable-1.htm
In case of MPC5775E-EVB, no connector is needed, it's just necessary to screw the twisted cable pair to the ENET_HDR connector J126. So, if you order the cable above (or something similar), just cut one connector off.
Hope this helps a bit.

Lukas
Thanks Lukas,
Additionally, is this the same cable as the linked one?
https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/TE-Connectivity/2362764-1?qs=wnTfsH77Xs4VMRm53JaMuQ%3D%3D ?
I have no experience with this but it seems to be the same.

Lukas
