Example code on the implementation of Flexray on DEVKIT-MPC5748G

Hello dear members,

I recently purchased the DEVKIT-MPC5748G and I wanted to ask if it's possible to get an example code for a very simple task; reading one message via flexray. I have searched through the various examples of the S32 Design Studio but I haven't found anything quite useful for this task. If this is not possible, any recommendations on where to start from for the software development of this task would be appreciated.

I am currently reading the reference manual of the MPC but it would be ideal for me if I could accelerate my work and the understanding on how to achieve this task through some examples.

another way is use FlexRay driver from Vector, but remember, this driver is under license.

Yes, thats true.

But MCAL nor vector drives are not example codes. They are full drivers certified for automotive.

I don't think they can serve as example codes at all.

The flexRAY protocol is so complicated then it is easiest to just use existing drivers instead of writing your own. (dynamic configuration, etc...)

Hi,

I had a talk with FlexRAY expert.

According to him, our customers use only Autosar MCAL flexray drivers.

Unfortunately, there is no simple example of FlexRAY available.
