In the changelog of MCUXpresso IDE V10.2.1, it states the following bug fix.

  • Fixed issue with display of PriMask, BasePri, FaultMask and Control special registers in Registers view for LinkServer debug sessions.

Unfortunately, I found that the issue is not fixed, at least for Linux. Does anyone have the same issue?

Can you please clarify the exact behaviour you are seeing please, along with the target MCU and debug probe being used.

Thanks for the reply.

The control register is always 0 even when I have set the SPSEL bit, and PRIMASK is 2, which should be an invalid status.

I work on Ubuntu 18.04. I use an NXP FRDM-k66 board, which is equipped with an M4 core. I used the default IDE LinkServer (DAPLink CMSIS-DAP) on the NXP's OpenSDA interface.

I temporarily switched to v10.1.1 which works fine.

Regards,

Le
