One further question please - on the "install mcuxpresso SDKs" screen within mcuxpresso, if I search for SDK's for RT1060 then I get 4 choices. Some are for "EVK" and others are for "EVKB" - what is the difference please and does this matter? Does it make any difference to the SDK that gets installed? (presumably it does otherwise the choice would not be there?)
thanks
-Nick
Hi @nickwallis ,
I assume the same applies for the 1060 as for the 1050, see my article about it:
https://mcuoneclipse.com/2018/08/04/i-mx-rt1050-evk-vs-evkb/
In short: I do not recommend using the old silicon or board with it. And if you have a non-B silicon/board, use the matching SDK (and carefully read the errata about it).
I hope this helps,
Erich
thanks for the quick reply @ErichStyger , I'll give that a try.
Hi @nickwallis ,
I had such things with unstable network connections, not sure if this is the case for you.
What you can do is to download the SDK from https://mcuxpresso.nxp.com directly (this is actually my preferred way).
I hope this helps,
Erich
