Hello,

I am trying to debug my NHS3100 via LPC-Link2 with LPCXpresso IDE, but when I'm trying to download the code, the IDE cannot recognize the board.

I don't face that problem with FlashMagic, but I cannot debug with it.

Hi Radoslav,

Possibly the LPC-Link2 board still contains the debugger firmware from Flash Magic. That one is incompatible with the debugger firmware LPCXpresso uses/expects. Can you power-cycle the board and try again?

Also, be sure to read:

  • <SDK>/docs/UM_NHS31xx_GettingStarted.pdf
  • <SDK>/docs/firmware.html > SW Debug Considerations

Please let me know your findings.

Regards,

Mario

Hello Mario,

The problem were from wrong driver, the Link2 was recognized simply as COM port, not as debugging tool. After uninstalling it and restarting the Windows 10, the correct one was installed automatically.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Regards,

Radoslav.
