you must be joking, when using the same command code 'S' for 'read CRC check[u]s[/u]um on' LPC800 and for '[u]s[/u]et active boot flash bank' on LPC1800 |(
There aren't any charaters left, are there?

They do differ in parameter count at least, but I would not count on the LPC1800 ISP handler to reject S 0 1024\r\n for example...

Why not use 'X' for set eXecutable bank on LPC1800 or 'H' for Hash sum on LPC800. Or maybe use lowercase 's' for the less dangerous command
