LPC2460 XTAL2 output

We are using the LPC2460 in Slave mode operation with a 12mhz crystal clock oscillator driving the XTAL1 input. In this mode, what is the output of the XTAL2 pin ?

Hi,

For LPC2460, in slave mode, you connect a clock source to the XTAL1 pin via a capacitor Ci with XTAL2 pin float as the following fig:

In the case, the XTAL2 pin will output a sine signal with the same clock source frequency, but there is a phase-shift.
