Hi all,

i have lpc1227 ,i want control my ac(air conditioner) with my controller board lpc 1227 .

so please suggest me the protocal that is to be used and how can i supposed to start

Hi, Sharif:

The first thing is needed to get clear about the IR protocol used by this air conditioner.  The RC5,RC6 protocol is popular for a lot of IR device. But for special consumer device (audio, airconditioner, TV, etc) usaully used special IR protocol. Then you can study the IR protocol, and try use MCU to control it. And suggest to use NXP LPC800 to take this role. Because it's low cost and more popular.  Thanks!
