PK66 and Config files

Hi,

unfortunately in this period I am working on some custom boards on which "PK66" is mounted instead of MK66. In the current project I'm using files related to MK66 (es. MK66F18.h, etc.) but when the cpu boot it writes on terminal "MK26" and not "MK66". Is this normal in prequalification versions of the K66?
Clearly some modules (es. Ethernet) do not work and the cpu goes into hardFault after a few moments. Anyone know which configuration files I should use?

Thank you all.

Hi,

I am using IAR for ARM 8.22.2 and the version of "MK66F18.h" is 3.0 2015-03-25,

Reference manual: K66P144M180SF5RMV2, Rev. 1, Mar 2015
Version: rev. 3.0, 2015-03-25
Build: b151218

and the code I am using works perfectly on cards that mount the MK66, while on those with the PK66 they go into hard fault when I try to set the ENET registers, all the other parts of the code work fine. The ethernet part is also one of the few differences between the K26 and the K66. I wonder if there are any specific examples or configuration files for the PK66 or early MK66 versions.

Best Regards.

Hi @Cristian2506

Thank you so much for your patience and your response.

Regarding your question, there are not specific examples or configuration files for PK66 part, SDK examples for MK66 part have to work for PK66 too, but as PK66 part is a pre-production part, I do not know where did you get it or where did you buy it.

Please let me know if you have more concerns.

Best Regards.

Hi @Cristian2506

Thank you so much for reaching us and many thanks for your patience.

Regarding the part that you are using for, where did you get the PK66? Because it is a pre-production part, but even though it is a prequalification version, it has to work with MK66 sdk examples.

I would like to suggest you to try flashing your mcu a basic blinky led example that you can find through our SDK for MK66, so we can make sure that everything is working fine in your custom board.

Lastly, may you share with me, which IDE and Debugger you are using for?

Please let me know if you have more questions.

Best Regards.
Happy New Year.
