Hello,

I just got a M52233DEMO card.  For my own educational purposes, I would like to look through the 'Web Server' that came programmed with the demo card.  Is there already a CodeWarriorIDE project set up some place?  If so, is it possible to 'import' it into my CodeWarriorIDE and use the files to help me look and step through the flash memory?

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi

I have one of these m52233demo board which came with a 'lite' version of CodeWarrior and a copy of the FreeScale version of NicheLite's stack. Software should be on CD's with the board. I got my version early, so I don't know exactly what comes with the boards when you buy them now.

If you can't find the Nichelite software, look on the product pages for the board where you will find a link to download it:

The Nichelite stack is a CodeWarrior project so you can compile and debug it.

Look here for the special edition of CodeWarrior that you can download:

Cheers,

Paul.

Thank you for your quick response.

Following your suggestion, I find out that one of four CDs I received with my M552233DEMO has files that I think are needed under 'ColdFire_Lite' subdirectory. The Web site you suggested also has basically the same information as a downloadable zip file, COLDFIRE_LITE_BY_INTERNICHE_REV1. But, the CD files are more upto date. I will stay with the CD for my purpose.

I have not done it yet, but, I will try to see if I can 're-create' the 'Web Server' project from these files. I am not sure if these files would compile, and match up exactly with what is programmed into my M52233DEMO.

Getting ahead of myself here, I worry about the code size; if it is more than 32K, does it mean that I can't load it into the RAM for degug sessions? I wonder. (I am new to ColdFire parts, to make it worse, and also new to CodeWarrior as well.)

Again, thank you for your help. I will post any progress I make.
