i have some trouble in using mpc564evb .
 in mpc564evb ,i set dip1=ON DIP2=0ff,dip3=0ff and  dip4=ON in
map_sw ,but i don't know what address of external
flashrom(amd29bdd160gb).if the address is 0x00800000,i have alreadily
try ,but it have no effect in writing and reading flashrom .if i am
wrong,can you help findout the address of external flashrom and sram.
 
Can Someone give me some example about external flashrom in mpc564evb.?

This is a ColdFire forum, but I've gone ahead and dug up an answer for your MPC564 question.

The DIP switches select which chip select goes to which memory device (RAM or FLASH), they do not determine the address. You have selected CS0 for external SRAM and CS2 for external Flash.

The BR and OR registers need to be set to the correct values to allow external memory addressing via the chip selects.

You can look at the board manual that came with the board. It has recommended BR and OR settings for the EVB in Table 1-2 and can be found at the following Axiom Manufacturing link.
