Hello,
We have to programm a Powerquicc processor for a SIL4 application. But we don´t want to use Wxworks (it´s certified for SIL4) because its cost. So we have to develop our own low level sw (startUp, memory management, device drivers, etc.). And it is not trivial. Anyone knows any free code or Board_Support_Package to start programming the Powerquicc?

Really thanks.

Hi Mig,

just a suggestion...

pick a Linux BSP it includes everything you should need to start up... including a boot loader...

Hope this helps...

Thanks a lot for your rapid response!!,
anyway, does anyone could provide me any reference on Linux BSPs for this purpose? We need an open source BSP, due to:
-We need finally all source code to certificate for SIL4
-Our applicatyion is simple, so probably we don´t need the main 'parts' of coommon BSPs, only the startUp, memory management, any device drivers and no much. If application is larger, certification process is more expensive...
I have heard about Arabella Linux BSP for Powerquicc, but I have not references. I have heard about Micromonitor too, but ...

Thanks for your support.
