Eval License for CW10 or CW8.1?? (MPC555)

Hi

I recently downloaded the eval version of Codewarrior 8.1 for the MPC555.  This was the pre-eclipse version that only ran on Windows XP.

I was just granted an extension to the license by Freescale support.  However when I replace the old license I still  get an error that the license is invalid.  I am wondering if the license extension is for the Eclipse based tool? or ??

The support person said that if I purchased the tool I would need to get the Professional version to get support for the MPC555.  When I look for this version I still end up at the same eval download???

Hello

CodeWarrior for PA5xx has not been ported to eclipse yet.

Can you please add following line at the beginning of your license.dat file.

  FEATURE Win32_CWIDE_Limited metrowks 5.5 permanent uncounted 2589EF7E8174 HOSTID=ANY

That should at least allow you to start the IDE.

Then check if you can build. If this does not work the system should return some message explaining what is going on.
