Hi,

I use CW for MCU to debug program on DevKit-S12ZVC. It worked well until one day I can't debug the program step by step. I got the following information.

Actually if I try to debug the sample project, it works fine.

Can anybody help me? Thanks.

I fixed this problem by deselecting the bus clock as debugger controller clock source.

From your setting you use 8M external clock. Can you please check if  this external clock function well?

Yes I can download my program image to the board and the board works well with my program. 

The only issue is that I can't debug step by step to check my program. Now to debug my program I have to add several CAN messages to monitor some variables.

I changed the debug program execution to Program Entry Point and found the trouble is made by setting Post Divider Register (CPMUPOSTDIV) register.

Is anything wrong with my settings?

1 So can you please clarify when the code can be debugged and when not?

-> I can't debug this specific project, but I can debug other projects such as a new created empty project.

2 Besides, If we create a NEW project with wizard in a NEW workspace, can you correct the board and debug step over?

-> If you mean a NEW(empty) project, yes. For the project I'm working on, I used many PE components and I don't want to create a new project re-configuring all these components again.

Sorry, maybe I don't understand.

As in the beginning of your question you mentioned you couldn't debug because of the connection error.

Later you mentioned "Actually if I try to debug the sample project, it works fine."

1 So can you please clarify when the code can be debugged and when not?
