Hi,

I am trying to re-host the floating license on a new computer without success.

I opened a service request but it is not even assigned after a week...So much for a fast serivce.

On the new computer.
1)    I re-installed CodeWarrior
2)    Got the new license from your website (re-hosting) and overwritten the old license.dat
3)    Installed FlexLM

Still cannot run Codewarrior as I get the following error.

Hello

You are getting FLEXlm error #-97. According to FLEXlm Reference manual this means:

"The desired vendor daemon is down.lmgrd log file, or

   1) Check the

   2) Try lmreread."

Did you check what is written to the log file after a failing attempt to start the IDE?

Did you try to stop the service on the server and restart it?
