I'm trying to install codewarrior 5.1 special edition on vista ultimate 64bit os and am recieving the following errors;

"Unknown error occured during the license file copy process.  Please copy the license.dat file manually from \setup\disk1\ to your target directory."

I do this then recieve

"Failed to install WinDriver's kernal module Error creating device info element: Access is denied"

then

"Failed trying to install the driver"

then

"Error 1722.  There is a problem with this Windows installer package"

doese anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Hello

CodeWarrior installers and installed CodeWarrior product will not work with Microsoft’s new Windows VISTA operating system. Many development tools and applications are currently incompatible with VISTA because of significant changes in this major operating system release.

We recommend that our customers do not plan to deploy CodeWarrior tools and technologies on the VISTA operating system this year (2007).

Further, we recommend that our customers continue to monitor our website for announcements about work-arounds or product releases that will support this operating system. If you have concerns or issues associated with this matter, please speak to a Freescale sales representative.

There is a way to get that working. Please look at this thread .
