56F8335 Debug Support - What CFG file should be used?

We are developing a project using the 56F8335 processor.  On the debug settings, on the target settings page, I selected the 8335 in the processor combo box.  I then went to change the initialization file and saw that there were no entries for the 8335.  I selected Support\initialization\56834x_flash.cfg.

When I hit the run button I received the following error message:

CCSprotocolplugIn: CCS: Library not found.

Does anyone know what the correct CFG file is?  I'm not sure if that's the actual root problem or not so if anyone has any experience with this your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

DWM

Hi,

The right file is the 56834x_flash.cfg.
May be you have another problem regarding the connection to the board.
By default if the wrong cfg file is used you should get antoher message like downloading problem.
The CCS is a tool used to establish the connection with the board.
I think it should be better you contact the support team for that.
You can log the request via the web:

I'm trying to program the 56f8335 dsp but I get the following error "CCSProtocol Plugin: Failed to erase to flash, try to record the program in flash memory but can not, and all pins are properly connected, which could not be the error.

Thanks
