Hi community,
I created i.MX6Q custom board, but about a half of them hanged when Linux booting.
The attached files are log when it hanged, and we can see the stopping points are different.
Sometimes these can boot correctly, but it will hang rarely.
I'm debugging what is wrong, and checking errata, ripple of power supply, clock, DDR calibration with calibration tool in the following URL.
https://community.freescale.com/docs/DOC-94917
But I've not identified the root cause yet.
Could you advice me what should I check any other to find the root cause?
And if you can guess what is wrong by the attached log, could you let me know it?
Best Regards,
Satoshi Shimoda

What about memory stress test ? Does the system passed it during long time ?
Dear Yuri,
I tested memory stress test.
Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved even though the board passed the stress test.
So I'm checking power supply, again.

1.
Have You checked the design using recent design Checklist recommendations ?
“HW Design Checklist for i.MX6”

2.
Is it possible to try JTAG debugging ?
Dear Yuri,
Thank you for your reply.
OK, I will check the design checklist again and JTAG debugging.
Anyway, I will close this discussion.
I think it is difficult to find the root cause because I have not focus the point I have to check.
So I will create a new discussion when I can narrow down the root cause.
Thank you for your cooperation.
