Set points configration of power_mode_switch

Hi,

Please tell me about set points configration of power_mode_switch example for MIMXRT1170-EVKB.

In this example, I can choose 16 set points after I select typical set point transition demonstration.

16 set points configration and Table.13 of IMXRT1170IEC are the same ?

If not, is there a configration table of power_mode_switch like a Table.13 of IMXRT1170IEC ?

Best regards.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting NXP support.

You should not have any problem, they should be the same, but we also recommend to give a look into the hardware design guide of the SDK board before creating your costume board.

Please let me know if there is anything else where I can help you.

Thank you for your reply.

The table.13 of data sheet says that when set point is 0, CM7 runs at 600 MHz.

But messages printed to console say CM7 runs at 696 MHz when set point is 0.

Other set points are also slightly different.

Are they really the same ?

Please reconfirm them.

Best regards.

Hello,

In the table mentioned on the datasheet mention that with the Set Point #0 the CM7 runs at 700MHz, so if the value of the console is 696 MHz that is a value that is still near to the theory value.

The theory values can vary because this have been tested under specific environments, that can affect slightly the values under different conditions.

Please let me know if there is anything else where I can help you.

Thank you for your reply.

I realized that I read a datasheet for industrial product.

I have confirmed that your point is correct for consumer.

Why are the set point configrations different for consumer datasheet and industrial datasheet ?

Hello,

For some of our products like the RT1170 we have different revisions, for the RT1170 we have the following:

  • Consumer
  • Industrial
  • Automotive

They are different because they have some changes on each one depending on the client needs like temperature.
