Hi All

I am trying to create a basic project in MCUExpresso IDE for the MIMXRT106S processor using the Project Create Wizard.

After the project is created, I try to build it and it fails with 7 errors.

Are there any special settings for this processor?

Hi @seandutoit ,

No, there isn't. Same to RT1060.

Hi

Why will the project not build? What information do you need me to send you?

Hi @seandutoit ,

You can start from a hello_world example in RT1060 SDK.

Hi @seandutoit ,

What is your customer board? What is the flash on the board?

Hi @seandutoit ,

You can use Security Provisioning tool to connect RT106s via serial mode. Let it recognize the flash, make a full erase.

Then you need a flash download algorithm for IDE downloading and FCB for flexspi config. Different flash may has different algorithm and FCB.

As this chip is a brand new chip from the factory, Is there anything special I should do before trying to program it. I am even trying to run a application from RAM but that also is not working.

Is there a minimum number of pins that should be connected before programming the device. Maybe I am missing a pin connection. Where should the JTAG_nRST from debugger be connected? I now have it on Pin G10.

I have Boot Mode0 and Boot Mode1 pins connected. Are any of the other pins important on a new device?

Hi @seandutoit ,

I doubt your board isn't power up correctly. Please measure VDD_SOC_IN pin. Is it around 1.1V?

The attachment is RT1060 EVK schematic.
