I want to use the MIMXRT1050 series product.

I would like to know if it is possible to implement CAN FD communication using this product.

For reference, the model name of the product to be used is MIMXRT1052DVJ6B.

Hello shlee89,

iMXRT1050 do not have CAN-FD support. For CAN-FD you can use

  • iXRT1060/1064 which have one CAN-FD interface (plus two CAN 2.0)
  • iMXRT1160/1170 which have three CAN-FD interfaces.
