I have heared that many people say lvds can't output 1080P, when I try to check source code ,
If i set the mode is "Spilt",
the code will set the pixclk is 2*455/7=120M pixclk/s,
check as double rate ,it will be 240M, It will be larger than the width 1080P needed.
when I set to splite mode,fb0 shows
cat mode:
U:1920*1080P-56
but I can't measure the clk on the pin...so I can't understand it ,so strangely.
Hi liu,
i.MX53 supports (1866 x 1050 @60 frames per second) as
states sect.47.2.1 MX53 RM. "U:1920*1080P-56" is supported as well.
However for testing better to use OBDS, it is simpler and allows
easily to printf and modify regisers
