mxsldr and mxsboot for imx7 chipsets

Hi All,

I have the following two questions regarding imx7 chipsets

1) Is it possible to use mxsldr and mxsboot tools to provision a bare board with u-boot , kernel and rootfs ? Is the two tools supported for imx7 boards ?

2) Is is possible to download download u-boot, kernel and rootfs to QSPI flash devices if the mxsldr and mxsboot tools are supported for the imx7 processors.

unfortunately mxsldr and mxsboot tools are not suppoted by nxp,

for image programming is used mfg tool utility found on

i.MX Software|NXP 

In general yes, it is possible to download download u-boot, kernel and rootfs to QSPI flash

if its size allows for it.
