imx6ul yocto sources codes

i.MX8 yocto the newest version:     L4.9.88_2.0.0-ga         05/2018       i.MX 7ULP and i.MX 8MQuad GA   release
i.MX6ul yocto the newest version:  L4.1.15_2.0.0_ga        10/2016       Added i.MX 6ULL and updates to Yocto Project Krogoth

I use i.MX6ul platform now . Can i use L4.9.88_2.0.0-ga by setting up MACHINE=imx6ulevk ?
$ DISTRO=<distro name> MACHINE=<machine name> source fsl-setup-release.sh -b <build dir>
$ bitbake fsl-image-qt5-validation-imx

Hello Liang Feng,

The L4.9.88_2.0.0 BSP Release does also support the i.MX6ULL EVK as shown on the Build Configurations section of the i.MX Yocto Project User's Guide (available as part of the BSP documentation bundle).

The MACHINE would be imx6ulevk if you are using the i.MX6UL EVK

However, the sfl-image-qt5-validation-imx image cannot be built for the i.MX6UL EVK as Qt5 requires a GPU for Graphic Hardware Acceleration.
