Hi All,
I'm working on getting the imx28 Linux 2.6.35 kernel to support USB wireless, but haven't been successful as yet.
I currently have the wireless drivers loading for the USB ralink wireless device and the wlan0 interface is present in the ifconfig -a list.
My question is, I assume I need linux-wlan to be compiled in and this requires pcmcia-cs. I having problems getting these 2 packages building. Also I've investigated alternatives iwconfig and iw, but these packages need a libn.
Does anyone have a successful solution or ideas, that would be most helpful.
Thanks,
Tim
Hi Tim,
Why don't you check once WHZ7188 modules.
I'm trying with 2 usb-wlan adaptor, a D-LINK DWA-125 and a TP-LINK WN722N.
I'm encountering problem when I try to install packages for wlan with ltib.
I have your same issue.
I continue to investigating.
Hi Marco,
I haven't succeeded as yet and have not moved any further with any other USB wifi keys. I have parked this issue at this stage, but it is most definitely a task that I need to complete. Let me know if you have any success.
In the next days I need to do the same thing, add a usb-wifi to my i.mx28 board.
Have you made some progress?
Have you tried other usb-wifi key?
