Hi All,
To support 4GB RAM in our custom board, I follow the software changes as highlighted in the following post:
However, when boot-up, it stops at "starting kernel ....", same issue reported in the post.
In u-boot, it reports the 4GB RAM in the debug log.
However, when I try to use "md" command to access the memory address range "1 0000 0000" to "1 3FFF FFFF". It will trigger the error and reset the processor immediately.
Since the post above mentioned that their board is working when removing "OPTEE", I also did a quick try on this.
I checked the default settings in u-boot that CONFIG_TEE and OPTEE are not set.
In the kernel, by default, both CONFIG_TEE and OPTEE are set. I changed them to not set but the bootup still failed.
Could you help what else needs to be changed to support max 4 GB RAM size?
Also, when I access the following link provided in the solution in the post, I always get the error "Access Denied".
Could you help provide the relevant information if you are able to access it?
FYI:
We are currently using the NXP BSP version: LF5.10.72_2.2.0.
This is different from the post mentioned earlier.
Thanks and regards,
Shunnian
