Hi, I had a bluetooth issue on i.MX93 EVK...
However, the EVK shipped with a rather old BSP, so before going further with BT, I wanted to try the latest Linux 6.1.36_2.1.0 binaries. This includes imx-boot-imx93evk-sd.bin-flash_singleboot, which I believe I should be able to boot using:
uuu SDPS: boot -f imx-boot-imx93evk-sd.bin-flash_singleboot
However, the end result is that the board's USB interface disconnects and reconnects and there is no output whatsoever coming from the debug serial ports. It does not boot. uuu -lsusb tells me the board is still in SDPS mode.
Next I tried to dd imx-image-multimedia-imx93evk.wic onto an SD card and boot that. Same end result: no output on debug ports, board does not boot.
To make sure uuu is actually working, I booted the original image from eMMC and dd'd /dev/mmcblk0boot0 to a file, and passed that to uuu:
uuu SDPS: boot -f mmcblk0boot0
End result: the original bootloader runs and we get in fastboot mode:

Detect USB boot. Will enter fastboot mode!
So I know the board works and uuu works and the debug ports are fine. But the bootloader in the latest BSP binary image does not boot. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @hmk!
Thank you for contacting NXP Support!
What silicon version do you have on your EVK?
The first version of the silicon is not compatible with the new Linux releases.
Sorry for the mistake!
Best Regards!
