i.MX8MP flawless transition between u-boot splashscreen and simple framebuffer linux

Hello,

I am implementing a flawless transition between u-boot splashscreen and  Linux configured to use the simple frame-buffer driver.

The transition should not have any blank screen on screen flickering.

Is there already a solution for this?

Partial solutions would also be interesting.

If there is no mode change or resolution change I think it's possible to realize your setup. I need to check in more detail, but I'm rather sure that we as NXP don't have a full solution for this yet.

For some projects we worked on an early splashscreen, but also on skipping it in u-boot and realize an early Linux display enablement.
