hello
I am using the Nitrogen8MP Yocto Zeus release. The kernel version you are using is boundary-imx_5.4.x_2.2.0.
A problem has occurred with the AP and Station mode. The wifi module under test is the MikroTik R11e-2HPnD.
If you try to connect in Station mode, an authentication failure will occur.
And when set to AP mode, the SSID cannot be found from other stations, possibly due to the nl80211 error.
Additionally, the 5G module MikroTik R11e-5HacT operates normally.
The drivers used are different.
MikroTik R11e-2HPnD is ath9k
MikroTik R11e-5HacT is ath10k.
wpa_supplicant.conf was created using wpa_passphrase.
Not sure how to continue troubleshooting this. Do you have any solutions/recommendations? Also let me know if there are any other outputs or diagnostics that would be helpful.
Thanks & Regards
Hi @showu!
Thank you for contacting NXP Support!
We don't have experience using that wifi module.
I recommend using the recommended Wifi modules tested in our BSP and our Boards.

Sorry for the mistake!
