i.MX6Q Internel LDO efficency

Hi,

Our cutomer is designing PCB power line of i.MX6Q.

As you know, i.MX6Q include internal LDO LDO_PU and LDO_SOC.

They should be determine PCB pattern width and length between BGA pads and bulk condenser of  VDDPU_CAP and VDDSOC_CAP.

For example if each internal LDO efficency assume 75%, estimated output current is input current x 0.75. It helps desired PCB line width and pattern.

So we would lile to know rough efficency of internal LDO of i.MX6Q.

Our concerned LDO is LDO_PU and LDO_SOC power efficency.

Hi Mamoru

unfortunately such data is not specified in i.MX6 datasheet.

LDO output current is equal input current minus some current

used for reference and control circuits (typically about several mA).

Since LDOs are rated for big currents (several hundreds mA) so

efficiency is much more 75%.
