hi experts

I am currently designing a custom board using imx7d.

i don't understand clearly  what is the  ON/OFF pin operation. If POR_B is connected using PMIC,

when POWER ON  , does  PMIC_REQ_REQ pin   change from 0 to 1 without  ON/OFFpin pressed

I don't understand that PMIC_ON_REQ changes from 0 to 1  "by alarm" in Figure 6-5 on the manual.

thank you  sincerely

Hello,

As is mentioned on the image, the ONOFF pin of i.MX device shouldn't be connected.

The PWRON pin of PMIC is an input signal to the IC that generates a turn-on event. When is asserted, starts the power-on sequence.

Best regards.
