eMMC pSLC mode support for i.MX25

We want to use eMMC memory with pSLC mode with i.MX25.

In this case, it is necessary for [156]PARTITIONS_ATTRIBUTE of Extended CSD Register to be programed

However, the eMMC I/F of i.MX25 is Specification Version 4.2.

We understand that Version 4.2 does not support this operation.

Can eMMC of i.MX25 support pSLC mode by software modification?

(Can [156]PARTITIONS_ATTRIBUTE of Extended CSD Register be programed by software?)

yes, i.MX25 SDHC support such operation using CMD6 and this is described in

Table 23-30. Commands for MMC/SD/SDIO/CE-ATA Cards i.MX25 Reference Manual (rev.2, 1/2011)
