chksum on directories in ltib for i.MX28

Dear Support Team,

I need to use md5sum utility in order to do checksum in on my directories, In the ltib of i.mx28 BSP, could you please let me know if there any configuration that needs to be done in ltib inorder so that we can get md5sum utility
